Lorna Dane | Sixteen | Sophomore | FC: Kristen Bell | OPEN

Australian born Lorna Dane lost her parents in a mysterious plane crash when she was only three years old. She doesn’t know how it happened, she doesn’t even remember what they look like, she just knows that they’re gone, and that her so called Aunt and Uncle are the only family she’s ever known. Though, they aren’t really even that. The Danes aren’t really related to her, as she learned recently. They adopted her, but they don’t share her blood. They never did. Yet, they still lied to her for her whole life about it. She wouldn’t have ever found out, either, if not for donating some blood. Both her mother and father were B+, but Lorna wasn’t. After that, the Danes had no choice but to tell her the truth, and damn her if she wasn’t furious about it.

Today, only a few months later, Lorna is leaving home, both out of anger at her family and necessity. Just two weeks ago, she was captured by the super villain Mesmero, who using one of his devices, unleashed her latent mutant powers. That means that now, Lorna is a mistress of magnetism, capable of bending metal and the earth’s magnetic field to her will. Though, she still has no idea what she’s doing and constantly finds herself causing destruction. That’s why she has agreed to attend Marvel Academy. Not only will she be far away from the people that lied to her, but she’ll hopefully figure out how to not liquify doorknobs.

Erik Lehnsherr | Thirty Nine | Professor | FC: Michael Fassbender | OPEN

Humanity has stolen everything from Erik Lehnsherr: his parents, his sister, his sanity, even his baby girl. Over and over again, they have proved themselves enemies, not friends. They made him go to the ghetto where he starved and suffered. They murdered his family and tossed them in a mass grave. They sent him to Auschwitz where they made him burn the bodies of his own people, just to stay alive. Then, when he put it all behind him, when Erik found some normalcy, they set his house on fire with his darling daughter inside and let her burn. She was only eight years old and they murdered her, just because they were different. The worst part was, when he lashed out, when he fought back and slaughtered the angry mob that had taken the thing he loved most from him with his newly found power, his wife ran away and called him a monster, when all he wanted was for her to help him bury their child.

Every time he has ever tried to trust humanity, Erik has been betrayed. He hates them now. He hates them with all of his cold, angry heart, and he will never let go of that. Nothing and no one will change his mind. Erik is on a mission now. He wants to avenge his people, his child, and every single mutant that has suffered at the hands of homo sapiens. He doesn’t want equality. He wants blood.

He’s going to make sure he gets it, too, and Marvel Academy fits into that. He’s here not just as a teacher, but as a recruiter. Erik is starting to gather his army, his Brotherhood, and the mutants of this school are the perfect start. He’s already got two members, too: the powerful Scarlet Witch and the lightning fast Quicksilver, both of whom he’d saved from near death not long ago.

Erik is going to see his dream of a human free world come true. He won’t going to rest until he’s dead or he’s won.

Also, on a side note, a big ass Happy Birthday to Fassy!! :D

Susan Storm | Seventeen | Junior | FC: Dianna Agron

Susan Storm had to grow up too quickly. When she was only sixteen, her father was incarcerated, forcing her to move in with her Aunt and become a Mother figure to her younger brother, Johnny. Her whole life, she’s had responsibility thrust upon her, and to this day, she has always risen to the occasion. Even when an accident occurred in Reed Richards’s lab, leaving her and four others with fantastic abilities, Sue took it in stride. Rather than panic and hate what she’s become, she wants to embrace her new self and do good with her powers. Now, Sue is at Marvel Academy learning to to control her gifts so that one day, she can save the world. Well, that, and she had to go to keep an eye on her trouble making little brother.

Katherine “Kitty” Pryde | Fifteen | Freshman | Kaya Scodelario

Kitty Pryde is many things; beautiful, intelligent, funny, and most importantly, she’s a mutant. Born in the town of Deerfield, Illinois, Kitty had a relatively normal upbringing. Her parents weren’t particularly unusual, and the only interesting member of her family was her grandfather, Samuel Prydeman, a holocaust survivor. She was just an average girl, really, hardly different from her classmates and friends. Then, Kitty turned thirteen and the headaches started. At first, she didn’t think they were anything. The child had no idea that her migraines were really just a sign of her emerging abilities.

It wasn’t until she was approached by Charles Xavier and Emma Frost that she found out what she was. Both the Professor and the Hellfire Club’s White Queen wanted to recruit the girl for their causes. Kitty, though, being the smart girl that she is, didn’t trust Emma. The woman was intimidating and unnerving, looking at Katherine like she was “something good to eat”. So, Kitty picked Charles. He was kind and made her feel at ease, unlike the other telepath, and he had such conviction in his beliefs that Kitty couldn’t help but want to join him.

He took the child under his wing for training, and eventually, when he decided to go to Marvel Academy, he brought Kitty with him. Of course, it took his “convincing” her parents, but it all worked out in the end. Now, Kitty attends our school, happy to be around others like her and learn more about her phasing abilities.
